If you’re not being yourself, you’re confusing everyone

#LivingSugarFree #SingleRemedies A Good Word

I won’t try to tell you how to get a relationship… but I can tell you how to avoid getting into the same kind you’ve been running from.

After all, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting a different result.

So what’s my big revolutionary how to?

Well get ready, it might surprise you. It doesn’t require any positions, lotions or magic solutions.

You know how when you first meet someone, you’re all smiles and giggles? Another thing people have a tendency to do is be politically correct, overly agreeable, less critical and not as forthcoming w/ facts; which makes absolutely no sense in the long run. Eventually the person is going to get to know the real you, and if the real you isn’t compatible with the real them, that’s when you start having real problems.

Try this, from now on…

Be the same all the time. Seriously, I mean it. Stop worrying about if anyone is going to like you and be worth knowing.

I promise he or she is not your last chance at happiness.

Several things will happen if you heed this advice.

  1. You will change or come to terms with the things you don’t like about yourself, instead of covering them up.
  2. You will attract people who appreciate the real you, instead of people trying to change you after they get to know you.
  3. You will absolutely know when someone likes you for you, instead of whatever trick you would have used to entice them.
  4. You will be significantly more happy, with or without a relationship.

In what ways have you sacrificed personality, passions, principals or personal preferences for what you thought was your one true love?

Share your experience and what made you realized you needed to be true to yourself… or if you have not yet come to that realization.
